Day 3 HCG diet, phase 2

This morning I am home and finally have access to a scale.  My starting weight was 191, this morning I weighed in at 185.6.  That is over 5 lbs in just two days!!!!  I am really excited about this.  I had written goals on a calender, and already have far surpassed what I thought I would do.  I'm going to have to re-write them all.  Yeah, for HCG!

Yesterday I had many different types of tea.  I have a raspberry hibiscus tea that is awesome.  I'm trying to not have the same flavor twice a day.  This morning I am drinking a Super Green tea, with orange flavor.
For my meals I chose items from my HCG food list.  I ate chicken, boiled and season, with asparagus for lunch, and  a small steak seasoned with Montreal seasoning, 5 strawberries, and half a sliced cucumber for dinner. It was delicious.   I also had an apple for snack, mid morning.  My daughter saw my dinner last night and freaked out about how good it looked.  She suggested that I photograph some of my meals and post them, as incentive to help new dieters understand that the meals can be good.

I am starting to feel a little tired.  I had a mild headache yesterday afternoon and evening.  I feel better this morning.  I am going to look into getting some b-complex vitamins and potassium.  Potassium helps because the rapid weight loss.

  1. I also, am on the HCG diet. I started just Nov 20th. To date I have lost 11.5 pounds. The thing I am finding in this diet is that you are very hungry. Usually by the time my stomach thinks I have forgot it, it is almost time to eat either a snack or another meal. I had 1/2 a tomato and 3.5 ozs of baked chicken for lunch today. The food really tastes great. Unlike Corrina I have been eating my fruit as snacks, usually strawberries with stiva for morning and an apple or orange in the afternoon (6 hrs after the strawberries). I don't care for grapefruit to I don't even go there. I am a little weak, tried to rake leaves yesterday and didn't get to far.
